This is the start of our second year teaching children's art programs. Although this year we created Children's Art Camps that are 4 days long, and filled with exciting fun projects for the beginner as well as the advanced student. The 2008 Children's Summer Art Program is going to be SPECTACULAR!!! This year we've added an Advanced Class for students and more projects, more fun!

 The Art Development Group's Children's Art Program is a wonderful experience for your children to learn art-making from professional highly trained artists. Our program is designed to work with children age 5-18 and all skill levels from beginning to advanced. Children Receive a FREE Drawing Kit and all supplies are included in the program.

The beginning Art Program focuses on developing Drawing and Painting Skills, Development of Three Dimensional Thinking, Collage, and basic art fundementals.

The Advanced Class addresses more Painting and Drawing skills, children are challenged to develop their artistic abilities through a series of Painting and Drawing projects that are developed specifically for the students. They will learn the elements of Composition, Shape, the Relationship of Shape and how to apply these elements to create Paintings and Drawings.

The program ends with a group showing of student works. The students will work on a collaborative painting project with the instructor which will be auctioned off at the final Student Show. The proceeds from the auction will be donated to a local Children's Charity.

Our facility is located at, The Factory on 5th Art Space, 1715 5th St. NW. This facility is designed for art making and houses approximately 34 working professional artists, including Painters, Sculptors, Jewelers, and Photographers.

    Classes are taught by professional degreed artists. Space is limited in size. The classes will fill quickly, so register early.
